The Itinerary


Day 1: Welcome to The Amalfi Coast!

As we are arriving and getting settled in today we will be greeted with fresh lemonade and a buffet. We will have a chance to rest before going out for a stroll and shopping. Our welcome dinner tonight will be at “Il Giardiniello” in Minori.

Day 2: Our First Cooking Class & Amalfi

Breakfast will be served on the terrace. First Cooking Class resulting in lunch and a chance to relax afterwards. Then we will visit an ancient Paper Mill in Amalfi and try our hand at making our own paper. Finally, everyone will have a couple hours to explore Amalfi on their own and get some shopping time in. Short stroll to Atrani for dinner.


Day 3: A Day at The Island of Capri

We’ll have our own private boats pick us up and take us across the water to the island of Capri today. We’ll spend the first part of the day sailing around the island, visiting its beautiful grottoes. Light Panini lunch on our boat today. Free time to explore Capri and the services of private open taxis that will drive us around the island, up to Anacapri, to the famous piazzetta in the heart of Capri and back down to Marina Grande.

Day 4: Pompeii and Our Second Cooking Class

Breakfast will be served on the terrace. Guided tour of Pompeii, followed by lunch at Addu’ Mimì restaurant. Time to rest up before the evening cooking class which will result in tonight’s dinner.


Day 5: A morning in Positano, Prosecco, Beach lunch & dinner at the Villa

Breakfast will be served on the terrace. We will board our boats from the port in Amalfi once again and make our way up the Amalfi Coast to Positano. Along the way, we will visit the Emerald Grotto. As we arrive in Positano, we will take a walk through this adorable little town and everyone will have time to explore Positano at their own pace and get some shopping in. We’ll head back to land in a tiny cove, where we will dock at “La Tonnarella” restaurant. We will be having lunch on the beach! Relax by the pool or if you want to stay on the move, spend time of shopping on your own in Amalfi, followed by dinner.

Day 6: Minori, Limoncello & Pizza Napoletana!

Breakfast will be served on the terrace. Shopping in town in the weekly market for some of the ingredients for the pizza making in the evening. While in Minori, we will visit a small Limoncello factory, where we will be treated to a tasting of Carletto’s amazing Limoncello (and other unique liqueurs). While here, we will be making our own limoncello. After Limoncello, we will be treated to a special lunch by one of Italy’s most famous pastry chefs, Salvatore Di Riso. Tonight we’ll be making the world famous Pizza Napoletana with Peppe and Tonino!


Day 7: Amalfi, Tramonti Wines, & Our “Lemon” Dinner

Breakfast will be served on the terrace. Excursion to Ravello with a visit to villa Rufolo and the Duomo. Everyone will have free time to explore the town on their own and get some shopping time in. We’ll head high above the coastline into the beautiful surrounding hills where we’ll find the winery “Tenuta San Francesco”. This is home to some of the oldest grapevines not only in Italy, but all of Europe! Here, we’ll meet, Gaetano and his family and enjoy some beautiful scenery, lunch and of course, some fabulous wines! Tonight’s dinner will be a true family cooking experience.

Day 8: Goodbye 🙁
